Özet: Anadolu’nun en eski yerleşim merkezlerinden biri olan Bursa, geçirdiği tarihsel süreç nedeniyle çok sayıda kültürel miras nitelikli yapıyı bünyesinde barındırmaktadır. Sözü edilen yapılardan bir tanesi de 1885 yılında Osmanlı bürokrasisinin memur gereksinimini karşılamak amacıyla açılan bir eğitim kurumu olan Bursa Erkek Anadolu Lisesi’nin tarihi binasıdır. Yapı toplumumuz için tarihsel, kültürel ve mimari değer taşımakta olup çeşitli nedenler ile uzun süreli kullanımda yıpranmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada; yapılan gözlemler sonucunda yapıda kullanılan malzemelerde tespit edilen sorunlar ortaya konmuş ve yapının koruma ve yaşatma sürecine katkıda bulunabilecek bir durum değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.

Analysis of Building Material Problems on an Example of Tanzimat Period Educational Buildings: Bursa Anatolian Boys High School

Abstract: Bursa which is one of the oldest center of population Anatolia has included many cultural heritage buildings due to its historical processes that it has had. One of the aforementioned cultural heritage buildings is the Bursa Boys’ Anatolian High School which is an educational institution opened in 1885 with the aim of fulfilling the government officer requirement of the Ottoman bureaucracy. This building which has importance for society in historical, cultural and structural means is worn through a long-time usage for different reasons. Within the scope of this study, problems which were determined on the materials used in the building were revealed and the status evaluation which would contribute to the processes of building’s protection and sustenance were done as a result of the observations.
