İnşaat Sektörü ve Ekonomi

Özet: Bu makalede, inşaat sektörünün dünya ekonomisindeki yeri, ulusal ve uluslararası ekonomilere etkileri, ekonomik denge içerisindeki yeri, sektörün yarattığı istihdam, GSYİH ve GSMH‘ye etkileri anlatılmıştır. 2004 yılında Danny Myers‘in yazdığı ‘Construction Economics – a new approach’ adlı kitabın 13. Bölüm (The Economy and Construction: Measurement and Manipulation)‘ünün çevirisi yapılıp, ilgili tablo, istatistik ve vaka çalışmalarına Türkiye modelleri eklenmiştir. Makalede, inşaat sektörünün yekpare analiz edilip tartışılmasının yanlış olduğunu da savunarak, sektörün diğer sektörlerle etkileri üzerinde durulmuştur. Uluslararası araştırmalar ve istatistikler orijininde, inşaat sektörünün ülkeler üzerindeki etkileri ve ülkelerin farklı gelişmişlik düzeyleri, ekonomik aktiviteleri, nüfus ve nüfus dağılımları, eğitim düzeyleri, ekonomik dışa bağımlılıklarının sektör üzerindeki etkileri üzerinde de durulmuştur. Son olarak dört farklı vaka çalışmasında ülkelerin inşaat sektörleri ve ekonomileri hakkında analizlerde bulunulmuştur.

Construction Industry and Economy

Abstract: In this article, the place of the construction sector in the world economy, its effects on national and international economies, its place in the economic balance, the employment created by the sector, its effects on GDP and GNP are explained. In 2004, Chapter 13 (The Economy and Construction: Measurement and Manipulation) of Danny Myers’ book ‘Construction Economics – a new approach’ was translated and Turkish models were added to the relevant tables, statistics and case studies. In the article, it is argued that it is wrong to analyze and discuss the construction sector in one piece, and the effects of the sector with other sectors are emphasized. At the origin of international research and statistics, the effects of the construction sector on the countries and the different development levels, economic activities, population and population distributions, education levels, economic foreign dependency of the countries on the sector are emphasized. Finally, analyzes were made about the construction sectors and economies of the countries in four different case studies.
